Despite our best efforts, we were unable to come to an amenable agreement with the insurance provider and have been forced to postpone this weekend's event.  Cinematerre was always intended to keep the concerns of locality, law and safety in mind so though we personally enjoy renegade events, it would be inappropriate to continue under those parameters in this case. 

We apologize sincerely to the nearly 200 attendees, DJs, performers, artists and volunteers that have already dedicated their time and energies to creating this project. We hope that you will keep in touch with us here and at our Facebook Group so that we can continue to help each other bring our creative efforts to life.
